Department of Education’s guidelines re Special Needs Assistants.
We provide the following:
On Site Speech and Language Assessment and Reports
A detailed assessment and report are provided including guidelines for intervention. Standardised assessments are used and results clearly stated so that the report can be easily used by the SENO (Special Educational Needs Officer) in evaluating a child’s eligibility for resource hours. We liaise closely with Teachers and Resource Teachers in assessing the student and in formulating the report. The cost of the on site assessment and detailed report is €550.00.
We can also provide:
-On site Therapy sessions for students ( 3 students or more)
-Speech and Language Therapy reports.
-Liaison with Resource Teachers in provision of language programmes.
–Training days on language intervention.
-Tailored services as required
